NextPreviousHomeIs this cube intro possible?

Hi,

I think it is physics-based, but can I create an intro like the attached one, too?

The flying cubes assemble to the text.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I think I would set my text layer to PIXELS (3rd dropdown below the textbox). Set the 1st slider of the PIXELS SIZE property to about 0.3 and animate the EXPLOSION property.

Thanks Michiel,

but with the explosion property I was unable to make the cubes beginning to join at one end. I can only make them to join at the same time.

Another short question:

I know, that BluffTitler can do this, but I don't know how to do the following:

In the video above a second text layer covers the pixel text, moving from the left to the right side (it is split by a lightstreak).

How can I do this? The typewriter property doesn't make it as smooth as shown in the video.

Usually, it would be a mask I have to use. Am I right?

Hope for an answer.

Thank you so far!

Wish you a good evening

Why don't you use a text layer for every letter? This way you have full control: every letter can have it's own explosion stage and you can animate its transparency when the lightstreak flies over it. And you can easily mix red and grey letters as in the video!

If you have some coding experience you could consider creating an FX that automates all this. I think I would use the particle layer applied to a traced picture layer and add FX properties to define the start and end point of the wave of flying cubes.

Yes: it works!

One last question concerning this case: How to make a complete title disappear softly as shown in the video above and in the video below?

The title comes through the ring. I know that it isn't your show, but it was done in BluffTitler.

And it seems like agvpn used a reflection map or dds map on the title and the ring. But how did he add the white bar on the text layer (sec. 4 - 6).

I tried to reach this effect with a bunch of point layers, but with a reflection map I don't get this effect onto the title.

Any suggestions?

Maybe agvpn could help me otherwise?

Thank you very much, Michiel!

Ik wens u een prettige dag!

Yes, that's what I would like to know as well!

When you have a question about a gallery show it works best to use the comment form at the bottom of that article. The artist immediately receives a notification e-mail.

Een fijne avond!

I just saw you had already posted a question to the very same article a month ago without getting an answer.

Maybe posting your comment in Vietnamese (Google translate?) can help.

Okay. Thanks Michiel!

I'll have a try!

Okay Michiel,

I've written a comment in Vietnamese now.
Hope for an answer.

Thanks for your tip!
